CLENMAY & THE ENVIRONMENT  Company Environmental Policy Statement.   Clenmay Heating Ltd has formulated its Environmental Policy and recognises that the growth of its business must not be at the detriment of the environment. In recognition of this, the company has set up and implemented accepted environmental practices and is fully committed to maintaining & improving its activities in order to prevent damage to the environment.   Just as Clenmay Heating Ltd believes its own management of the environment to be a key element of its overall business management activity, so it will work with its Suppliers and Clients to assist them in enhancing their own environmental activities.   Through implementing a continuous improvement programme to identify, review, evaluate & implement such Health and Safety & Environmental legislation, as well as relevant statutory regulations that impact upon its business operations.   Through reviewing & evaluating all aspects of its operational activities in an attempt to eliminate, reduce & prevent the production of all forms of pollution. It recognises that not all the impacts are directly attributable to its processes, etc, and those Indirect Impacts (attributable to suppliers, sub-contractors & customers) that are identified as potentially significant will be treated in the same manner.   The company’s Environmental Aspects are evaluated and a level of significance identified against them. From these, the company will attempt to manage a set of Environmental Objectives & Targets, which will be controlled by a programme designed to eliminate, reduce & improve any specified environmental pollution.   The company is committed to minimising any disturbance to the local environment and resources of the communities in which the company operates, including the presentation of its own sites & premises.   This policy will be communicated to all staff, its suppliers / sub-contractors and any other major stakeholder, as well as to the public on request. We are proud of the achievements & commitments already achieved by the Company, and wish all persons dealing with us to be aware of them.
